Water Purification Station Project

Under the patronage and in the presence of the Mayor of Burj Al-Shamali, a water purification station was inaugurated in Burj Al-Shamali Camp – Al-Zouk neighborhood, implemented by the Human Association for Relief and Development.

The event was attended by the President and members of Muslim Care Malaysia, along with Sheikh Ali Abdullah, Imam and preacher of the camp, as well as a number of municipal council members, the Mukhtar of Burj Al-Shamali (Mukhtar Kaseera), and several community leaders and dignitaries from the camp and the town.

During the ceremony, the Mayor of Burj Al-Shamali, Mr. Hussein Shoueitli, praised the role of the humanitarian organization in development and in serving both citizens and refugees, expressing his gratitude to the donors and highlighting the importance of the project in providing access to safe drinking water.

Sheikh Ali Abdullah, Imam and preacher of the mosque in Burj Al-Shamali Camp, also spoke about the importance of water provision projects and relief programs for our people and community.

The project was warmly welcomed and met with great appreciation from donors, as it enabled them to implement initiatives that address the needs of the Palestinian refugee community in Lebanon.
